Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
If I stay it will be double”

From buying a new car to voting in a crucial election, listing “pros and cons" is NOT the best way to decide. Find out what DOES work…

Making Decisions When You Can’t Decide

The good news: Feeling stuck and unable to decide is rooted in the mechanics of the human brain.

That’s good news because brain science can also light the way to decision confidence - activating the rational, creative parts of your brain. Read about that here

To begin experimenting with your own decisions right now, try asking…

  • For each option I’m considering, what’s the worst that could happen if I choose that option? What am I afraid of?
  • For each of those options, what is important to me about that option? What would each option make possible?

These insights will allow you to compare apples to apples. Which of the “worsts” is “less worst?” Which of the values and aspirations is most important to you?

Understanding the brain science will help you turn these questions into a practice you can use whenever you feel stuck about a decision.

Creating
the Future
is a collection of people around the world, supporting each other in a grand experiment.

The experiment:
To determine how much better the world could be if the questions we ask in our day to day lives are bringing out the best in each other.

If everyone, everywhere, is bringing out the best in every person they encounter – and if the systems that guide our behaviors are built to bring out the best in all of us - how much closer will we all be to a healthy, humane world that works for all of us?
